Dendrobium bigibbum var. superbum
Species
is an orchid that will grow to 81 cm tall. Commonly referred to as the Cooktown orchid or the two-humped dendrobium its natural blooming time is between spring and summer but it can bloom all year in commercial cultivation. The flowers are pinkish purple with a darker mauve center.
